Letter from City Planning Department
Subject: Please join us to support the San Pedro Community Plan

Dear Community Leaders,

We would like to extend our gratitude to the committed members of the San Pedro community for your partnership in building the San Pedro Community Plan.  Your insightful feedback and sustained involvement at community meetings has been critical in shaping this important document, and we hope you feel a sense of pride for your role in guiding San Pedro’s future.  We also wish to thank those who joined us at the Harbor Area Planning Commission on Tuesday, March 5th.

As you are aware, the recommended plan and its components will be presented to the City Planning Commission next Thursday, March 14, at 8:30 a.m., and we especially want those community members who devoted valuable time and energy to the planning process to share in the public presentation of the Community Plan.   Based on community input, the meeting has been moved from Los Angeles City Hall to the San Pedro Boys and Girls Club at 100 W. 5th Street, and we hope this convenient location allows you to attend and share your support for our work together.

If you have any further questions or clarification before this meeting, don’t hesitate to call or email us.  We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!

Sincerely,
Debbie Lawrence, AICP
