Cynthia Gonyea
I have lived in San Pedro for thirteen years. I began my career proudly serving as a captain in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. I then became a special agent in the FBI. Later, I was a special agent in the US Customs Service. I survived the Oklahoma city Bombing and was transferred to Los Angeles. After the 9/11 Tragedy, USCS was merged with the Immigration and Naturalization Service, so I worked, then retired, as an ICE special agent. I was a member of the San Pedro Auxiliary Chamber of Commerce. For the past eleven years, I have been a member of the Harbor (now the LA) Crisis Response Team. I am pursuing a Masters in Transportation Security. I want to represent the seniors and make San Pedro a better community than it already is!
