Northwest San Pedro Neighborhood CouncilEZ SmogThis motion instructs the NWSPNC representative to vote yes on the following PCAC motion which is consistent with our draft vision for North Gaffey: Whereas, years of Port expansion and development has led to a physical interface with the surrounding communities that lack an aesthetic appeal and reflects general disregard for appearance, Therefore, In keeping with a general policy of sensitivity for the need to landscape, beautify and generally upgrade all Port property where it interfaces with the community, the Port Master Plan Subcommittee recommends to PCAC that PCAC recommend to the Board of Harbor Commissioners to terminate the lease for the property known as EZ Smog, to be used exclusively in support of the China Shipping Mitigation as proposed by the Northwest Neighborhood Council and supported by various motions made by the Port Master Plan Subcommittee.
