Vincent Thomas Bridge Weekend Closure March 28th - March 30th

Weekend Closure of Westbound State Route 47 at Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro for Structural Inspection on March 28 thru March 30

 The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces a full closure of westbound State Route 47 (SR 47) at Vincent Thomas Bridge from 7 p.m. Friday, March 28 to 7.p.m. Sunday, March 30 for a structural inspection of the bridge.

The closure is required for Caltrans engineers to perform structural inspections of the main cable bands located along the bridge’s suspension cables. An additional closure of the westbound lanes may be required the weekend of April 4.
